To check the LAN modem's configuration, open up a web browser and type in the
following: 192.168.1.1 (That is the default ip address of the DIVA LAN modem. This can be changed. If it has, then find out what the default gateway/router address is and try to get to the LAN modem's configuration via that ip address).
To check the configuration:
1) From the main menu, click on connection profiles
2) There will be two profiles (ISP (or some other name) and corporate)
3) Click on edit for the ISP profile
There will be links you can click on at the top and the bottom. Here is a quick summary of what links are important:
Profile - Checkbox to enable profile, protocol selector (This is where you can change whether or not the router connects at 1 or 2 channels)
Connection - This is where you can change primary and backup numbers, adjust idle timer
IP - Enable NAT, enter DNS servers
Authentication - Username and password are entered here
To save changes
1) Click on the finish link
2) Click on the save button (lower right)
3) Click on the reset button (lower right)
To make the DIVA LAN modem manually dial
1) From the main menu, click on connection profiles
2) Click on dial or test for the ISP profile
To find the IP address the DIVA LAN modem has obtained via dialup
1) From the main menu, click on Statistics
2) Click on Current call
3) Look for an item that says local IP address. That is the IP address the LAN modem has obtained.
