To check the router's configuration, open up a web browser and type in the following: 192.168.0.1 (That is the default ip address of the toshiba router. This can be changed. If it has, then find out what the default gateway/router address is and try to get to the router's configuration via that ip address).

If it asks for a username and password, try the following (if th euser does not know them)

username: admin
password: tr600 or tr650

To check the configuration of the router, click on the typical button. This section consists of three screens.

Connection Type
LAN setup, ISDN setup
ISP setup

To test the connection

From the main menu, click on test. On this page, near the bottom, you can have the router test the conenction by trying to connect to Toshiba's web site, or you can make the router go to an url of your choice.

The testing phase goes threough 4 phases

Confirming ISDN cable connection (Checking the ISDN line)
Authentication in progress (Router has reached the pop number)
Sending test request (Router has negotiated successfully, trying to
reach the test url)
Waiting for reply

Note where it fails, and troubleshoot accordingly.
